UN’s bias against israel
For decades, Arab nations have systematically tried to delegitimize Israel at the UN. From exclusion in decision-making to constant condemnation, it's clear where the UN's priorities lie.
From 2015 to 2019, the UN General Assembly passed 96 resolutions against Israel. Compare that to 7 for Syria, 5 for North Korea, and 5 for Iran. And ZERO for China.
In 2019, while the world faced numerous crises, the UN General Assembly passed 18 resolutions against Israel alone. Only 7 resolutions were passed against ALL other countries combined.
Even the UN Commission on the Status of Women gets in on the act, with all four condemnations since 2015 targeting Israel for its treatment of Palestinian women. Where's the condemnation for Saudi Arabia or Iran?
Israel, the only democracy in the Middle East, was the third most-discussed topic at the UN in 2019. More than human rights abuses in China or Myanmar? This isn't about human rights; it's about delegitimizing Israel.
From 2006 to 2020, the UN Human Rights Council adopted 90 resolutions criticizing Israel, which is 42% of ALL country-specific criticisms. Meanwhile, countries like Russia, Saudi Arabia, and Iran skate by with far less scrutiny.
The UN seems to forget about: Saudi Arabia's public executions. China's mass surveillance of Muslims. Iran's brutal treatment of the LGBTQ+ community. Syria's use of chemical weapons. Myanmar's genocide of the Rohingya. Brunei's harsh Sharia law. North Korea's countless atrocities
