BDS

BDS is a global campaign promoting boycott, divestment, and sanctions against Israel. It is the newest weapon in the ongoing effort to eliminate Israel as the democratic state of the Jewish people. BDS brands itself as a progressive human rights movement, but nothing could be further from the truth. In reality BDS undermines efforts towards peace, justice, and human rights in the Middle East.

• Almost 100,000 Palestinians work in Israel and Israeli settlements in the West Bank. This employment is crucial for their livelihoods.

• On average, these workers earn twice as much as those employed by the Palestinian Authority. For many, the wage gap is even higher, allowing them to financially support thousands of other Palestinians.

• Many Palestinian farmers rely on Israeli companies like Agrexco to export their goods to European markets. Since 2010, Agrexco has exported hundreds of tons of Palestinian produce from Gaza, providing an essential economic lifeline.
